This week's question:
If you could read one book again for the first time,
which one would you pick and why?

Our Answer:

Francesca:  It's hard to pick one and I don't want to sound like a broken record and say that I want to read Lover Mine by JR Ward again for the first time, although that would be awesome, not knowing what's to come and experiencing the roller coaster of emotions all over again.  Even though re-reading is a close experience.  But I would have to go with my first Lisa Kleypas read, SECRETS OF A SUMMER NIGHT.  First, it was my intro to the wonderful writing of Lisa Kleypas and I fell in love, totally and completely.  But also it was the one book that got me back into reading historical romances, a genre that I had kind of gotten burned out and hadn't read in almost 10 years.

Annie: Well, I just finished reading the new I-Team After Hours novella, SKIN DEEP, so I really want to reread UNLAWFUL CONTACT by Pamela Clare all over again. That book caused me to roll through a bunch of different emotions. I only wish I could forget the story so I can experience it all again for the first time once more. Marc Hunter captured my heart and he still remains in my hottie harem to this day!!

Angela: There's in only one book I would pick and that is Dark Lover by J. R. Ward. My experience reading that book was just phenomenal! It opened my eyes to a whole new world of Alpha males. Even the audiobook, I can listen to it as it was my very first time.
Fran, Suz and Annie, don't laugh! I chose this book not because of my recent interview, but because it is a effin awesome book!!!! I love the brothers.

Suzanne: Kate Daniel's series by Ilona Andrews. It is one of my favourite series, and I love the feeling of excitement I got when I started reading the series and discovered the new world the Ilona and Gordon Andrews have created, and watching the developing relationship between Kate and Curran. A new release to the series is still very exciting, but nothing quite beats that feeling of discovering a brand new series and clearing a space for your shrine!

Now it's your turn!

I really need to read the Kate Daniels books. I have seen them around and never read them.

This was such a hard question, but I think I actually had an answer that was not vague. lol

I've read all but the Pamela Clare. They sound great though so now I'll have to check her stuff out!

Angela - I have the same answer as you. Dark Lover was an introduction to the wonderful world of Ward's vampires and I was intoxicated with Wrath. Mmmm….

@Cim, I sometime repeat myself using BDB but they just come up first thing in my mind and/or I'm just too lazy to think of anyother books. Lol

Francesca I loved John Mathews book too, I'll take them all though! Lol.

Annie, I'm not sure about your book, although, since he's in your harem, maybe I should give it a try.

Angela, we picked the same I just noticed too, ;) It's not that Wraths was my favorite book, but I received the first 6 books in the series and I sat down and couldn't believe what I was missing out on LOL.

Suzanne, yet Kate Daniels is awesome! I love it when Curran RAWRS!!!

You should ask, what's the sexiest item of clothing a hero can wear in a novel, next week. ;)

I'd choose Personal Assets by Emma Holly because it's the first erotic/taboo book I'd ever read, it opened my eyes and introduced me to so many things, it would be nice to experience that again.
